Need a little advice here from you experienced polishers. I'm attempting to polish 3/4" thick red label acrylic pieces in various sizes, 3x4, 2x3, etc. I'm trying to get away from sanding and go straight from the saw to the polisher and need to take out the saw marks...any suggestions?

PrairieStamper,
I agree with what Jim says!. I would suggest that prior to polishing the edges that you use a sanding block and some sandpaper to take the roughness off the edge prior to polishing. Try 600-800 grit if that is to time consuming then try some 320-400 grit then go back to the 600-800, maybe even some 1000 grit then polish! John |
