ALUMINUM Boat Polishing

I wanted to know what kind of wheels you would use to buff a boat.Iwill do all the sanding.Then I would start polishing but I am pretty sure I would not use a wheel like I use on my bench buffer would I .If not what type cause it is a fairly large area it would take forever thanks for any reply.

polishing boat parts that have either soft or hard anodizing on it is not advisable moast parts are coated and when you start to sand or grind you will find your destrying the part wile trying to remove the coating instead of properly striping the old fishing then polish and re-anodize gmfinishing@verizon.net

if it is anodized you can remove the coating with easy-off oven cleaner. however that bare aluminum will be exposed to corrosion. especially if it is used in salt water.
