I want to nickel plate a brass part, however I want to bead blast a pattern onto the brass before I plate it. The brass piece is all shiney, but now I want to blast a matte finish pattern into it.
My question is masking off the pattern. I want to cut out the pattern and then adhere it to the part. Bead blast with my pensil bead blaster, then remove the mask. Finally rise it off and place the peice in a degreaser. So any recomendations on a masking tape, that will stay in place, not wear down under bead blasting, and any residue left over can be removed in a degreaser? |
