Old Compound - Plating Powder Coating Buffing Anodizing

Is there any way to save or revive old dried out buffing compound

?? Dissapeared when we moved found it 5 years later hate to toss it. Any ideas would be helpfull. Thanks

What kind? If it's greaseless throw it out or pulverize it and use for setup wheels. If it's grease-based it shouldn't be too dried out inside.
