Hi all,
With tech I've gained from this forum, I've made great progress with my polishing job so far. Now I've gotten stuck... I'm trying to polish the grooves on this brake caliper: ![]() My 1/2" wide wheel is just too wide to get down in there and lean on it with some emery. Any suggestions on a skinny (1/4" wide max) solution? I will end up doing this in low production #'s so want something that works well but doesn't take hours and hours... Any ideas? caswell sells a "razor buff" that is precisely what you need. they are about 1/8" thick and you can get them in 4,6,and 8" diameters. you could double stack to get it a little thicker if needed. they are not, however, stiff enough to really lean on very hard.
