Brake cleaner works well and I find it easier to get (around here) than acetone.

oh yeah, i should point out that although fingernail polish remover is mostly acetone, it doesn't work nearly as well as plain acetone. at least whatever brand my wife uses anyway lol

i better put that back before she notices

mpierich,

Not sure where your at that acetone is hard to find. I get mine at Wal-mart in the paint section and I think Ace hardware and such stores have it also.

I need to pick some up again myself, keep it sealed well and cool!
I had a nearly full can in back of my truck, I guess the sun boiled it away, got it out the other day and almost empty. The cap was shut! The can is not leaking. I know the stuff evaporates fast if left open but this was sealed. I forgot it was sitting out there most the summer

It's not _that_ hard to find; I just said brake cleaner is easier to get. Plus I like the spray can.

Hmmm, so where did your acetone go if the can was sealed?
