Default virator tumbler

anyone try to polish Al parts in a tumbler. I own a nova 1003, 1 hp tumbler and so for I tried walnet shells and glass beads, nothing works....I was thinking of metal shot, will that be to hard on al parts.

I've never done it myself, but it appears that ceramic media in a fluid is used for cutting.

for aluminum you'll need red rough treated wallnut shells and 72 hours .

We use these at my work, we do special alloys. I thought this was always a nice machine, when we upgraded from table top to floor units I bought one. I may try metal as a media then ceramics or walnut shells.

In one hour out alloys look great, I like to get time from 72 hours to 1 hour. I will update this soon.
