Default rate my part...

what does everyone this about this part> My first attempt at polishing a part.

100 grit, 150 grit then 250 grit...used a orbital sander...then white rouge and polished...looks good to me, not like chrome but nice.

If it suits you, it suits me. But if you want to get it better ("like chrome"), go to at least 320, then polish the hell out of it with emery (black), then use the white to color it up.

If you want a #. I would give it a "6" It does not look shiney? Like mpirich said, if you like it then cool But i would Poilish it alot more to get that 'chrome" look.

It it with some Emory and White and let us know.

Good luck!

6 is better then a 5...I am afraid of going to far sometimes...but I did get some more grit...from 220 then 320...400, 800,and 1000...i will try more later this week...my first attempt was ok, but had many pits.so I tried again..I was happy to get the item even, then get a nice looking polish to it...now I want to go a little further...
I got black, brown, red and white...I try the black then white later this week...thanks for the replies...
