I use cartridge rolls and felt bobs with greaseless a lot. Do a search...this question is asked almost once a week.

Try doing a Dellorto for mutipule tight area's.
I just use a piece of wire rounded off and start with a 120 grit wet & dry and then move up the grits then little felt wheels and compound. Yes its time consumming but you get a great result

"I just use a piece of wire rounded off"? "and start with a 120 grit wet & dry and then move up the grits"? thanks guys

I get cartridge rolls up thru 320 - never looked for finer ones because I don't need them. Actually I plan on making my own eventually.

Don't know about the rounded wire deal...he's probably sanding by hand and wraps the paper around it, but hard to tell from that...

yes 320 grit cartrige rolls is smooth enough for me , with a little bit onof compound over it , gets it smooth enough to buff with a felt bob.
an i also don t know what he means by a rounded piece of wire

yer while handsanding tight areas I use a piece of wire with wet and dry raped around it. I just use a grinder to clean off the ends of the wire so I dont further scratch whatever Im sanding

Baz might use buffing compound if he's found it works, but normally you'd use a high-speed grinder's grease (available here at Caswell). It really is amazing how much smoother the rolls cut with grease, and I've found they cut faster and last longer as well, and it helps keep some of the dust down as well.
