polishing as-cast aluminum wheels

Hi
I intend to polish 100 Alloy Wheels as following images:
(Image of the wheel after leaving the mould, and not machined), and the surface is coated with a clear layer of polyester.
Considering the number of wheels and polyester coating on it,
what kind of polish do you suggest?
And is it possible to do the polishing manually?
How long does it take to polish the hooding?
I intend to polish the spokes only.
The size of the wheel is 13x5"

Yes it's possible to polish the 'hooding' on your wheel manually. After the machining work is done, you will have to remove the polyester paint/powder before you start to polish.
How rough the surface is would determine what grit of sandpaper you would start with.
