Default working on motorcycle pics:

i wanted to get some opinions from some of the experienced members around if possible on how this stuff looks, if you think i need to do use other methods to make it better etc...

right now i'm working on my motorcycle, and have almost all of it completed. the process was:

aircraft stripper to remove paint
120grit then 220 grit sandpaper
emery with sisal
white compound with sewn cotton
then cleaned it with wenol
-- i have not done the final shine on these with the mothers stuff, if anyone knows of any better than mothers please post and let me know --

on the wheels, i did not get them perfect where the spoke connects to the outter rim because i didn't have the tools to sand in those little crevises, but it's ok cause this is not a show bike, it'll be a daily driver. here's the pics:

Looks good from here... If you're happy with it, it's perfect.

Would have to see it in person to pick it apart I'm surprised you got it that good by only goinfg to 220. The sisal must have done pretty good in this case.

How many hours you think you have in it?

25ish hours in the wheels, 10 on the frame, 5 on the swingarm, 10 on other various parts

so roughly 50 hours total

the most screwed up thing about the whole situation is that on the rear wheel i went from 120-220-400 then emery/sisal. on the front i went 120-220 then emery/sisal. the front one turned out better than the rear. i do not understand that whatsoever
