Preserving finish - Plating Powder Coating Buffing Anodizing

Group:

Is there any way to preserve the polish of aluminum and brass short of coating it lacquer or plating it?

I do pretty well with the polishing (mostly very small parts); but I'd like to stop the subsequent oxidation.

Any help? Products I should know about?

Many products like Flitz leave a wax coating but it's not permanent. I suspect none are, except for sealers like Zoop. Then there's clear powder coating.
