Blasting media for removing casting marks
What kind of blasting should I use for removing the ruff casting marks off of aluminum Harley wheels? It looks like people are using aluminum oxide to cut the marks down and then a glass bead to prep the finish before polishing. Could someone recommend what grit of what to use when ? There are a lot of hard to get to places on the 13 spoke wheels and I'm getting tired of greaseless compounds and the cartridge rolls are getting expensive. Any help would help. Thank you
