i would like to polish my engine components
- front timing plate - inlet manifold - etc i'm new to this game, is there a complete kit available for such a task? what do you recommend to be used, taking into consideration they are cast items? Thanks

At the bare minimum, you will need the following:
-240 grit greaseless compound with a spiral sewn wheel. -Emery compound with sisal wheel. -Tripoli compound with spiral sewn or loose cotton wheel. -For added luster you can use white compound on either a spiral sewn or loose cotton wheel. For the intake manifold, you will need an assortment of felt bobs. Sanding tapers will make your job much easier on the intake manifold. I do not believe Caswell stocks them, but perhaps they could special order. |
