Hi looks like there is some great info and experience on this forum. My question is this; I am making some steel furniture out of welded mild steel and I want to leave the steel as "natural" looking as possible. The first piece I made I just lightly sanded, cleaned and used spray lacquer then went over with steel wool to dull and finish. That worked Ok but I was hoping to try another method out now. I have heard of others waxing steel furniture pieces, what are your thoughts about this and what product are out there for this.
