Does anyone know of a good way to remove old gun blueing? I have tried everything I can think of, including buffing it with a sisal wheel with blck compound commercial blueing remover and even a wire rust removing brush. I want to nickel plate the gun but I don't know how it will turn out if I try to do it over the dark blued metal.
