Trying to silvachrome plastic dash pieces. What media should I use to remove the chrome and paint off these surfaces, there is a pebble grain material on this piece. Should I risk media-blasting it? soaking it in something? Any ideas would help me out.

Black Walnut shell and Plastic media is good for paint removal without removing any material from the piece you are blasting. I often use poly blast media when stripping paint. It works much better because it creates less heat, which prevents the paint from heating up.
