use electroless "copy chrome" instead.
This is just like nickel, but with a whiter tint, instead of the yellow of regular nickel. Of course, the best way to get a silver hue on something nickel plated is to just add the extra step of plating the nickel with silver. If you want the "silver" look but without the problem of the silver plate eventually tarnishing, just plate with paladium or platinum instead. |
