I HAVE A PIECE OF ROUND STEEL THAT I HAVE WELDED A CAP ON IT AND NOW I WANT TO CHROME IT, BUT THERE ARE SOME INPERFECTIONS WHERE I WELDED IT. WHAT CAN I USED AS A FILLER SO WHEN I CHROME IT I DON'T SEE ALL THOSE PITS, DOES BRAZING WORK
?AND WILL THE CHROME ADHERE TO IT ?

You could prep the part flash copper, acid copper then use lead free solder to fill up around the weld then re-acidcopper and let it build up so that you can then sand it down to have the right form and then move on to the chrome plating part.
