Default Vibratory Tumbler Procedure

I'm new to using this tool, and bought a used one. I see where some compounds are best used wet. How wet is wet? Moist? Slurry? Floating? I would think a slurry consistency would be best but thought somone might have done the experimenting.

Is there a good progression of media? I have some green triangles and a polishing media ,and the prior owner sent me some dark redish material that does a nice job shining nuts & bolts. The green triangles don't do anything dry I found out (hee hee, guess that's where "wet" comes in).

Any help is appreciated!

Alex
