One place in the manual says use pot metal primer over repairs on pot metal before plating, other section says copper conductive spray over bondo repairs OK then plate. Please clarify. Thanks Buddy

It depends what the pot metal repair is made of.

If you repair with a metal based product, it will be conductive, so you can plate directly over it.

If you repair with bondo or a similar product, it won\'t be conductive, so you\'ll need to paint with conductive paint first so the plate will apply correctly.
