black oxide - impressive
i bought the cold black oxide kit to try and so far i am very impressed.. it was absolutely stupid simple to do , almost fool proof and the parts turned out perfect the first try.. looks as good as a professional multi dip hot system and although i doubt its quite as tough its plenty good enough for my parts..
my one question is about the black soot that is left on the surface after its dried.. can this be simply wiped off and rinsed or will the part forever leave a black smudge on your hands after handling..
