Default SilvaChrome?

Hi, just used the kit and it works Great!
One thing I did get first time was
When I put the lacquer on The finish
turned a little gold in color?
I used the same gun I used for the sensitizer
I ran Thinner though the gun to clean it before putting in
the Paint ,would just a slight bit of
Sensitizer in my gun contaminate my top coat
and make it turn the gold color?
I noticed the Lacquer has a slight Amber tint to it.
Thanks Jdee

Well as it dried It got much better.
Just a very little of the gold look left..
Guess I gotta practice with this.
Its some really cool stuff!
I made some temp Cups for the guns LOL
Works just fine, a few beer bottles and some paint sticks

Can you explain what you\'re trying to do by sanding the part? I don\'t think sanding the base coat will accomplish much other than removing it from the part.

I got a little texture on the parts that I used the product on, and thought that if
I had a real smooth surface Like glass
I would get a better overall finish.
I guess I could put a heavier top coat
on and sand and buff that out.

The texture is likely caused by orange peeling of the basecoat. This can be prevented by practicing your spray technique a little more. Apply a thinner layer
