    black oxide kit & alum?

    i was reading about the black oxide kit and was wondering if it can be used on alum ? i have alum motorcycle engine covers like primary cover and cam cover ect. thanks

    No - just steel. You can use the A385 blackener on aluminum (http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/metal.htm)
