I just purchased your Copper Plating kit, 16 Gallon, with a 25 amp rectifier.
I seem to be able to plate brass fine, but when trying to plate non metalic objects end up with a rough sand papery finish. The maunual says to plate at 1 volt for 30 min, then up to 1.5-2 volt. There is no mention of the correct amperage although at the beginning of the section on copper plating it says .05-.1 amp pre square inch. My rectifier is showing 3-4 amps @ 1 volt and I can not decrease it. Any ideas? Thanks |

Sounds like too much power.
Please post a problem report in our PRS system and we'll sort it out for you.
