Default Pin stripe adhesive removing

I was wondering if there is any quick way to remove adhesive from fenders?
I am sanding them for repaint and was trying to wet sand them off but it is taking forever.
Thanks

They have rubberized wheels just for that. They can be found at several places but the only one that comes to mind right now is the Snap-on dealer. They are 3" or 4" diameter, 1/4" to 1/2" wide, mount on an arbor and usually yellow in color.

what is an arbor and how does this work?
I also noticed some of your work very nice, I really like the manifold, I waswondering when you did that did you have to polish it smooth so the finish will look smooth?

There are several different styles but most are similar to the one here

http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/arbor.htm

The manifold started out to be polished for anodizing but the guy changed his mind and decided on PC. I took the Elderbrock name and model off with flat pads and worked the crannies with cartridge rolls. The runners were sanded to 400 grit and very little buffing done before PC. The look it has comes from the smooth surface and I slow ramped the temp to get the most flow out before it started to cure.

3M makes a product called Woodgrain and Stripe remover. this works great for removing all types of vinyl along with its adhesive even the vinyl that breaks off into little peices. Once this is sprayed on it, the vinyl will just peal off. Other wise, we often us a product called Rapid Remover to remove the glue residue.

Have you tried Lacquer thinner, Acetone or MEK?
