Default Stainless Steel Blackener 370 - who has used it? any pictures?

looking to anodize some T bolt clamps which are stainless steal. should i make sure i get clamps that are a certain grade of SS?

You can't ano stainless, but there may other methods of turning SS black.

What would be the correct forum? I'd like to go there too.

I've used the stainless steel blackener. I've both diluted and dipped and tried swabbing it undiluted. It worked both ways. It doesn't create a black that is as black as black paint, but if it is coated with anything clear, even auto polish or wax, it becomes similar to that.

I've found it holds up well to weather, but I don't know about abrasion. If tightening those clamps scrapes off any of it, you could swab the scrapes to repair them when the part is in place.
