Exclamation Stainless Steel Blackener 370 - who has used it? any pictures?

looking to anodize some T bolt clamps which are stainless steal. should i make sure i get clamps that are a certain grade of SS?

ok so i bought the blackener...tried it and i dont like how it turns out, it is to dull. anyone else use this stuff?

Using a blackener wouldnt be anodizing as stainless steel doesnt anodize, it dissolves. Caswells blackener is nothing close to real black oxide. Their substitute scratches off and doesnt produce a clean finish. However, the real process is very dangerous and requires the use of several hot (above boiling) alkalines

yes i know i used the term anodizing wrong. well that was a wast of 25 bucks. why dont they tell you this or have pictured of the finished product on the for sale page
