Default Buildup after using Desmut

I am having problems with some of my parts. I stripped them as instructed, and when I put it into the Desmut, it makes a white coating on the part. When it goes into the anodizing tank, it turns black or grey, and i gotta start over. Am I doing something wrong? How can i get it back to bare aluminum besides buffing?

Otherwise things are going good!

Default Re: Buildup after using Desmut

You need to thoroughly rinse the part before going into the anodizing tank.
