Aluminum Solder Paste
I purchased this product to fill a gouge in an anluminum mag wheel.
I can not get it to melt. I have tried a propane torch and a butane torch. It seems to start to melt and then does nothing. After it cools it just wipes off. If I try it on an eighth inch thick aluminum bar it melts and beads to a ball. I thought it would flow. Am I doing something wrong or just not enough heat from the butane (it is supposed to go the 3100'). Thanks Terry

Try heating the part first in an oven. That will help the solder flow more smoothly.

You could try using Mapp gass instead of propane.
