Pen Plating Black Chrome
I tried to pen plate a couple of items with the black chrome pen solution with bad results today. I first stripped the chrome off of the items then attempted to plate with the solution with only a small area showing a darkening. I am using a 0-20v 35amp rectifier so there should be plenty of power to do it with. I also tried it on a quarter submerging it in solution to tank plate with the same results. What am I doing wrong.
