Hello everyone, I've been lurking the forum for a while now and usually can find the answer I'm looking for by searching however I could find no definitive information on this topic.
My problem is I have a set of wheels that I removed the chrome from using Muriatic acid and a lot of sandblasting. The problem I ran into is that before the main face of the wheel would start peeling the back side was beginning to pit.
What are my options to repair the pitting prior to powder coating? Adding more material would be better for me then trying to sand the pitting down as I don't want to affect the wheel strength or balance anymore then I have to.
If anyone can give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
