Default Stripping Zinc
I have some wrestling belt plates made of Zinc. They were spray painted by the previous owner and I would like to plate them. Are there particular paint strippers that I should/shouldnt use on Zinc?

Default Re: Stripping Zinc
Any ordinary lacquer thinner will be fine. Just make sure to avoid anything with acid, as it will attack the zinc.
