Default PID problem

Set up a tet612 pid with ssr & k therm. and it works, but the temp. reads 650 @ room temp. what could be wrong?

Most temperature errors read something like 'FFFF'. Check the polarity of the TC leads to make sure the plus and minus connections are correct on the pid.

Assuming you have the correct tc specified in the pid parameters, possibly the tc is defective.

My guess would be "Inty" isn't set to "k". This is the thermocouple type. While your at the address 0089 parameters, check the value of PSb. This is the temperature sensor error off-set. It may be set to something like 600. It should be set to 0 initially then adjusted to read the correct temp. (Assuming you have a way to accurately verify temperatures.)

OK Checked the polarity of tc its right and the the tc came with the pid so I'm good there. My inty is set to k and checked psb and its set to 0. Is there any way adjust temp reading to calibrate.

OK never mind I see that is how you calibrate, with the psb. OK got it, I set to right temp. Great thank, appreciate it.
