Default Oven Doors

Ok Ive been lurking and reading for about 10 days. This is a great site and Ive got lots of great ideas.I just dissassembled a older propane fired oven and am going to rebuild it as a electrical oven. The outside measurements will be 4x4x6.5 my questain is how well do doors built out of the steel studs work?Im concerned with stiffness and how you guys reinforced the area where the hinges attach. Also where did you get the hinges and door latches? I have 2 sets of piano hinges that are about 4 ft long but they are smaller than I like Im concerned about over the long run.I want to be sure the oven I build will stand up to a couple of moves from the shop Im currently in plus its going to be on wheels all of the time. In advance thanks for any tips and ideas.

our 4x4x6 oven has a stud door. it's stiff. the whole oven is remarkably stiff, even without a floor. for the hinge areas, i used 3/4x3" aluminum bar stock the whole length of the door, heavily riveted. works well.

So where is the 3/4x3 inch aluminum piece installed in the stud channel or is it the part the hinges attach to on the back edge of the door? Also have you had any problems with corrosion from have dissimilar metals touching?
