Default JLD612 us w/ a 220v coil another question for ya Ed

    just double checking my mindset.
When using a 220 coil in the contactor, would running the one (110v) leg to the coil and the other (110v) leg through the 612 (pin #13) to activate the coil (via pin #14 when "on" mode), the question is, would I need a diode to keep the hot leg of the coil from bleeding back to the 612 through #14 when its in its "off" mode?
did any of this make sense?

It's not a problem unless you want to have a 120 vac indicator light showing that the contactor is active. This was discussed some time ago in this thread.

    Contactor/ PID question

look down to page 3 or 4.

    Mr. Ed,
I was planning to wire it like the diagram you posted in this thread
    contactor to TET612 wiring?
I know this shows for a 110v coil so I was going to modify a bit there.
as far as the jld612 I have read so many different threads and I am confused if I need a jumper etc.
Can I wire the jld612 like the diagram you posted? (other than the coil voltage issue mentioned)

The neutral connection isn't showing up on that schematic, but for a 240 volt coil, wire it as shown and just add a black feed to the other side of the contactor coil. Or pm me your email and I can send you a better schematic with a light, fan, switches, indicators lights, etc.

You also need to set 'outy' to '1' so J2 functions as the pid relay contact output.

I'm not sure what jumper you are referencing.
