Default Picking out the correct PID.

Hi everyone, I am making plans to build my first PCing oven and I am trying to pick out the appropriate PID. I am going to be using 2 1500 watt elements with SSRs. When I am shopping around there seems to be so many options for them. What options do I have to have for an oven? I'm still working out the details but I am going to wire for 220V in the garage. They range in pricing from 20 bucks to 200. I guess I am just looking for the bare minimum that I need. Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks
    Terry

Any of the basic pids will work fine as long as it has an ssr option. The higher priced models typically have ramp/soak and other functions that you claim are not required. Look at the tet-612, TC-408, etc. They are all basically the same.

No need for multiple ssr's. 3000 watts is only going to draw 13 amps, so any ssr rated 20A or greater would be fine. Just include a decent heatsink.

I'm using the Auberins SYL-2362 with an ssr on my oven.

go with a basic pid, all those options are not needed . i m also using the SYL 2362 and it has been working perfectly for over 2 years now so i think that for 41 $ it is as good deal.
