Default Electric Oven Construction Plans

Here is a good site that I found showing plans to build an electric oven.

Everyone wanting to build should at least look at the link. It appears to be well thought out.

Dude, you know how to make a man happy! Thats a dream come true!

Now instead of wasting all that money on 4 ovens to put together.. "Dont ask"

I can just build this one! its what I am looking for, big enough to cure motorcycle frames.. I am so all over this!

Thanks man! Good lOoking out!

I have seen that and looked at it before but I will not build it until I hear a few good things about it and know that people built it and it works good. Also is there anything on that to tell the degrees in it? Also one more question that isn't on topic... Does the PC kit come with a manual like anodizing kit that tells you how to use it and everything?
Thanks.

I am in the middle of building the oven now. I modified the design slightly because the oven in the plans is desiged to be easily taken apart. i am using const. grade aluminimum for the frame and cocoon insulation. not being an electrician, finding the right electrical parts has my project on hold. i probably wouldn't have started without these plans.

Mitch,

Here is the temperature control and elements that I am using in the construction of my oven. (Rated 30 amps at 120/277 VAC, these open-on-rise switches enable you to control resistive electric heat loads without a contactor) My will be 3' x 4' with two 2250 watt heating elements. I want to be able to keep it below 30amps.

Temperature Switch: http://www.mcmaster.com/asp/enter.as...amp;catnum=110

Heating Element (2)

Hope this helps,

Jim
