Looks good!
Put hinge on the door, then glue stryofoam board to the outside of the oven.
You are on the right path. 15 yrs old? Good work young man!

Will the stryofoam board keep the heat insulated on the outside?

You might look at a 1.5" piano hinge for the door. They also call it continuous hinge. It will handle the weight better and give the door better support. I know guys that are a lot older than you that have trouble measuring. Remember the old saying measure twice, cut once. SS

Thanks. Also I have 3 heating elements. Were can I buy a box or something to power all of them on and to have a thermostat with a temperature switch?

The styrofoam will help keep the heat inside. It'll make it more efficient.

There are posts that deal with those parts. That's 220V single phase power. It's not something to play with if your not familiar with it. You can get the parts at an electrical supply or an old oven. I can't say if the parts in an old oven would carry the load of three elements. Be safe. SS

Find out what the wattage is for each of your elements. Add them all up for total wattage. Then take your total wattage and divide it by your voltage. That will give you your amperage. Then using that amperage add 20% and look for a wire gauge chart or talk to an electrical supply house for what gauge you need (ex: elements = 1000w each and supplied voltage is 240v then 1000w x 3 elements = 3000w and 3000w/240v = 12.5A, then 12.5A + 20% = 27.5A). Most of the time oven outlets should be wired using 8 gauge wire with a breaker thats only rated 10% above the calculated amperage. This trips the breaker without burning the house down first.

Then you can just add a 240v single phase tstat. My choice would be one like item# 47525K64 on mcmastercarr.com or if you have one, the controls from an old oven would be a lot better/cheaper.

Before the tstat thought, there should be a simple on/off switch that can handle the load. I have also though about staging the on/off switches (a switch for each element) in order to slow that initial in rush of electricity.

I haven't built my own yet but am hoping to in the near future. You're doing a good job on yours. keep posting pics and updating us
