Default another simple insulation question ,mineral wool

does my meneral wool need to be inside or outside my sheet metal,and also how did you get it to stay in place ,like overhead

the mineral woll needs to be on the outside of the metal, and should be sandwiched between the inside and outside skins. this holds it into place and keep the heat inside the box where needed.

Due to not wanting to invest a whole lot into the oven with extras, we didn't put a skin on the exterior of our oven YET!
What we did was to put strapping material across all sides to hold the insulation in place.
At regular intervals, it works well!

To cement insulation use simple wood glue (white lepages) I use it to cement fiber to 1000deg f then use ceramic felt for door insulation (available from most heating suppliers.
