dang thermostat not working ,hellllp

my thermostat is not cycling my elements to regulate the temp,my temp is climbing out the roof,my oven is just a household oven with a 3ft addition out front. the only wiring i done was move the broil element to the new addition and cut both broil wires and spliced each wire into the bake wires.

Sorry i cant help you with your thermostat problem. But could you post some pics of your extended oven? Im considering extending mine enough to fit a motorbike frame, I would like to know how you moved the heater broil element and anything else?
