Default Need a door latch for the oven!

Need some help here guys and gals. Our oven is basically a box. Door is 4" thick and fits flush with the sides of the oven itself.
It will have to mount on the side of the oven and attach to the door side (4" wide( and the side of the oven.
I would like to find something that will cinch the door closed to press the door into the gasket material.
I searched for hours on the net and couldn't find what I am looking for. I know what I need and I have a picture of it in my head, I just can't seem to find it.
It's a 6' high door so I'll need 2 upper and lower. Any ideas
What I have pictured is a handle with a loop attached to it that would hook into a catch and as you throw the lever it cinches the door closer.
Kind of hard to explain!

today is your lucky day!

That is exactly what I needed for my oven. You can buy cam latches from almost any industrial supply. In Canada I use Ackland Grainger...But you can buy all sizes. It was perfect. I only need 2 because it pulled the door in perfectly. Only about 20 bucks.

Timmer, You are the man. Now that I know what they are called, I was able to find a couple toggle latches real cheap! Exactly what I was looking for!
Thank you.

There are even better ones than that are CHEAP that include the latch piece on the door...just a thought!

(and they have a loop sort thing instead of a hook..for what its worth)

FWIW...

I am finishing up my big oven.. I have been wondering myself what to use to close the door. I have no problems getting or making any type of latches. My concern was if there were ever any kind of explosion.. I would rather the door fly open than have shrapnle fly all over the place..

Rather than a latch system I settled on using two welding magnets to attract to one another. One on the inside of the door and another on the inside of the wall where the latch would otherwise go.

Heres the money shot!!

JBTFA100 is the one I got (I think) either that one or the next size up which is the 200. It has more than enough throw to grab the door and pull in. (Let the truth be told, I only use one and it works great) It looks small but shes mighty! I had to put a couple layers of sheetmetal under her so that it doesnt flex but works awesome!

The keywords to find it at other stores would be "toggle latch pull"
