So I started wiring my oven and I have the same set-up a lot of us here do from Stan, the guy from E-bay. I can't get the contactor to make contact and supply the other side with power. And well I'm a little confused here is the schematic he sent me, http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...n/Mail0002.jpg as you can see it says for 120V. I talked to Stan last night and he said that for 240V all you do is switch the nuetral wire for another hot wire. Now if I do that the thermostat won't turn on. Don't you have to have a nuetral wire to complete the circut? Also is there any way to test the contactor or the coil? It is very frustrating because I not the best with electrical stuff and I wired it exactly as the schematic shows but there is no where to put the nuetral wire. Thanks for any help, Trey.

It is 240V. When you hooked yours up where did you run the nuetral wire? In the schematic he said to switch the nuetral wire for another hot wire but then where does the nuetral one go? The thermostat wont turn on unless the nuetral wire is hooked up to the bottom right terminal. But I havn't been able to get the contactor to make a connection. I have gotten the thermostat to read the temp. from the thermocouple, I just don't know how to get the thermostat to make the contactor connect. So basically I need to know where to run the second hot wire too, (not the one that goes to L1) and where to run the nuetral wire because the guy Stan was telling me that I dont need a nuetral wire which is very confusing to me. Thanks.

hi all i am in the same situation with wiring my system. what goes where?? i have the same thermostat and have a 60amp contactor both items are labeled as 120v but 220v can be ran through the contactor. i believe that 120v is what is needed to open and close the contactor. two 120v lines run through the contactor and one line is wired as needed through the thermostat to operate the contactor. hope this makes sense. my question is has anyone figured this out and if so would you have a diagram that i could see to get my system wired. thank you in advance for any help. i would be up against a brick wall if it wasnt for this forum. ron

if you can post pics or send me pics I will send you back some info that might help. But if its labled 120v you may not be able to do 220v. now if something is 220v you may be able to do 120v. wire it wrong and you may be buying new parts.
