You "could" use that but usually those cabinets are REALLY flimsy. But if you do decide to use it... cover it with mineral wool or a high temp insulation.

Where do you get mineral wool? Can you use something thats from lowes or home depo?

They have mineral wool and high temp insulation at McMaster Carr

Make sure you turn it on outside the first time, there is going to be a lot of smoke when that paint gets hot!

Something that size. 2 burners min, 4 max. Good luck, it's a fun project and not all that hard to do. Check out my thread on my oven. 70.00 invested and all set to go.
