I guess I was thinking I didn't have enough things on my plate, so I picked up another project...lol. I've still been working on the oven. I'm also building and installing a stroked 350/388 motor into an old 84 Monte Carlo SS. Anyways, I'm still taking pics as I go. I finally have all of the exterior sheet metal; I still have to bend it though. I drilled the inlet hole and finished the air duct. I sealed it with the furnace cement. I completely sealed all three burner pans with furnace cement, to include the edges, sides, and a skim coat on the entire outer(between the walls) surface. I'm trying to hold all the heat in I can. This thing should be pretty well sealed. All the insulation is cut and installed. I have the top sheet metal temp installed to mark my bend lines and go from there. Fun, fun...pics tonight....maybe....Laters

Here's a shot of the back of the burner(element) pans with the skim coat of furnace cement, and a shot of the revised duct installation. I decide to go with some 4" flexible duct instead of the planned bent sheet metal ducting. It was easier to route and keep inside the walls. I had to flatten it in some spots to fit. I did smooth out the flattened spots after this pic though, I'm a perfectionist and couldn't leave it with a "beat up look". But, she's sealed and flows great!

Here's the duct inlet sealed to the interior of the back oven wall. I fabricated some simple L brackets and riveted them around the opening I cut so I could attach the duct and then "slathered"...lol... the furnace cement on it.
