What size wire did you use between 2/T1...4?T2 and the heating elements.

The size of the wire will depend on the wattage of the elements. 14AWG is good for 15Amps max under the Canadian Electrical Code.

BUt, that's based on the insulation rating of standard home wire. The high temp wire does have different ratings. I am running 13 amps/element on 18AWG VHTW wires good to 650*C 1200*F

I used 12 gauge stranded wire for elements.

The "J" type is for more of a flush mount . You will need THe "K" thermocoupler That you can mount outside oven and goes into the oven 6"-10".

I just mounted the controller in a cheap electrical box on the front side of the oven.
Here's a pic.

thanks , TIM

Here is a photo of the latest controller we built for a forum member. It drives two elements, lets you select between 1/2 and full oven power, has a digital micro controller, and an ammeter for showing current draw.
