Red face thermostat

does anyone know where or how i can get a thermostat that will work with a torpedo heater.also how to hook it up to shut off and turn the heater back on. also how does the propane stop leaking out where it is shut off. the oven will be running at 400 degrees.

The only ones that I have seen with this feature are kerosene heaters.
Propane heaters either have the thermostat already or not. Adding one to a unit that doesn't is tricky since you need to stop and start the gas supply.
Easiest way to control temp in your situation is via venting and shutting down the heater. You could also add some firebricks inside to act as a thermal mass and absorb the heat while it is firing and radiate it back out when it isn't. Might give you a better way to even the heat out. Good Luck
