hello yall
im in the search for some elements for my new oven. however the oven elements i can find are of to low wattage to be used. There is something called grill elements aswell is there anything speciel about these elements other than that they have a higher wattage ? if i understan correctly if you turn on quick heating on an oven it uses the grill element and the ususal element to heat it quicker. can these grill elements be used or are they a big nono for some reason? (someone mentioned they glow red when used) same goes for hot plates? Last edited by KKamel; 12-27-2006 at 06:56 AM. |

You need to find yourself two old house ovens and your set all you'll need is a contactor and some wire.
Read this one first Contactor and Thermostat |
