The first oven I had, was exactly what you are wanting to do. If your looking at both ovens from the front (door side) cut the left side of one and the right side of the other. Screw them together and then screw the two doors together. This will make you one long door. Then run a piece of conduit across the top to hang your stuff off of. You can run both bottom elements off of the standard equipment on the oven. You won't need the broil elements in that smal of an area. This will also come up to temp very quick, and hold it really well since your using the standard insulations. I can get pictures of mine if you need them.
