I’m building a 4x4x8 oven. I currently have 6/ 18 ohm elements. My calculations say I really only need to use 3 for this size oven. But, I’m not sure how long it will take to heat up an oven this size to operating temp with 3 elements.
My question is would it be advantageous to run all 6 to get a fast warm up on the oven or would it be a waste? I was considering running 2 thermostats so I can turn one off once the correct temperature was reached. What do you guys think? |
